ENID, Okla. — The photo of Judd Blevins was unmistakable. 

In it, Blevins, bearded and heavyset, held a tiki torch on the University of Virginia campus, on the eve of Unite the Right, a 2017 coming-together of the nation’s neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups.

The U.S. Marines Corps has modernized its dress code for women.

Beginning this week, women in the Marines will no longer be required to wear pantyhose with their uniform skirts, a first since women became a permanent part of the Marine Corps in 1948.

Marine Corp officials announced the change Monday, writing, "Effective immediately, the wear of hosiery with skirts is optional."

When pantyhose is worn with a skirt, it must be "skin tone harmonizing," while dark hose may still be worn under dress slacks. Читать дальше...

Mortgage rates appear to be dropping on popular 30-year terms as of Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The current average rate for a 30-year mortgage is 6.90% for purchase and 6.84% for refinance, down slightly from Tuesday's 6.95% for purchase and 6.94% for refinance.
