YEREVAN, 27 June. /ARKA/. The Armenian government at a session on Thursday approved the sale of a land plot on Saryan Street in Yerevan for the construction of the World Trade Centre to the World Trade Centre investors./pp/pp
The state-owned land plot is located between Saryan and Proshyan Streets, adjacent to the building of the Main Post Office (22 Saryan Street)./pp
Earlier it was reported that the building of the former Main Post Office on Saryan Street will be demolished for the construction of the World Trade Centre (WTC)./pp
The Armenian government approved the relevant investment project on 7 September 2023. The construction contract was signed on 30 April 2024. The construction of the centre will be carried out by Renshin Company./pp
The cost of the project is estimated at $212 million, the total area of buildings and structures will be 123 thousand square metres. About 50% of the business centre will be owned by investors, 19.82% by the state and 30.18% by Haypost National Post Company./pp
Yerevan WTC will join the network of the World Trade Centres Association, represented in 100 countries of the world. -0-/p
