Zadymienie w było tak duże, że ewakuowano wszystkich, którzy znajdowali się wtedy w budynku - 22 osoby, w tym 2-miesięczne dziecko. Początkowo sądzono, że ogień pojawił się z powodu zwarcia elektrycznego. Prawda okazała się jednak o wiele gorsza.
