Armenia`s Criminal Police of MIA hosts Iraqi delegation
ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Internal Affairs on cybersecurity issues at the Criminal Police.
The delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Internal Affairs' Cybersecurity Department, led by General Dr. Hassan Hadi Laziz Ali, arrived in Armenia on April 20.
According to the ministry's press release, during the meeting, Colonel Artur Barseghyan, Head of the General Department of Criminal Police, emphasized that, given the transnational nature of cybercrime, one of the most effective methods of combating it is through collaboration with international partners.
General Hassan Hadi Laziz Ali expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and praised Armenia's policy in combating crime, as well as its close cooperation with international partner organizations and countries. He shared the Iraqi experience and the dynamics of crime, expressing willingness to develop close cooperation with the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.
