Over 1,000 accidents in Armenia in one day due to heavy snowfall - insurance companies overloaded
ArmInfo.The insurance sector in Armenia is currently operating in an extremely overloaded mode due to the high number of accidents recorded since February 20 caused by bad weather conditions, as noted in a message from the Union of Insurers of Armenia, posted on their official Facebook page.
According to the source, six insurance companies servicing OSAGO contracts have together recorded over 1,000 accidents in one day. This is an unprecedented situation that has caused the system and telephone lines to become overloaded.
At the same time, each insurance company, along with the relevant services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, is working in an enhanced mode to handle all insurance cases related to accidents promptly. In this regard, the Union of Insurers of Armenia, is urging citizens to drive exclusively in cars with winter tires for their safety.
