Patrick Vieira has finished his role as head of Manchester City's Elite Development Squad.
The French legend joined City as a player in 2010 before moving into an ambassadorial role for the club and a coaching job with the youth academy upon his retirement in 2011 but will now head to the USA to take up the head coach job at MLS club New York City FC.
Vieira has plenty of fond memories from his time with City, particularly the number of promising players he has seen come through the ranks, and was extremely grateful to the club, its staff and players for his time spent in Manchester as evidenced by the following Twitter posts.
Leaving for @nycfc I'm reflecting on 5 years as @mcfc player, ambassador & coach. So many people to be thankful to. pic.twitter.com/PSGXF4HZ3H
