This collection captures the massive scope of Assassin's Creed's open worlds, with epic vistas and detailed close-ups.
Assassin's Creed has taken us to so many places—Victorian London, the Caribbean, revolutionary Paris, and most recently, ancient Greece. We've been able to immerse ourselves in those worlds (and in many haystacks) while exploring some of the most detailed environments in gaming, but the last two Assassin's Creeds, in particular, have had some stunning vistas.
With Origins and Odyssey introducing a Photo Mode, it's been much easier for players to capture breathtaking scenes from these giant open worlds. To celebrate the scope and detail of those worlds, we've collected dozens of artful photos from the PC screenshotting community that can serve as desktop backgrounds.
There are some incredibly skilled communities of videogame screenshot artists out there, and we've picked our favourite Assassin's Creed captures from both Flickr and Steam—with the kind permission of their respective owners—to showcase them here. If nothing else, these screenshots should give you your Assassin's Creed fix while waiting for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
