The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/2hfVRVM ) Johnson has joined other college and university presidents across the nation in signing a statement that calls for the continuation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
The action comes as President-elect Donald Trump has said he would get rid of the program, which provides temporary reprieves from deportation for young people living in the U.S. illegally who meet certain criteria.
