BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Alabama freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts was among 11 Crimson Tide players making the coaches All-Southeastern teams. LSU tailback Leonard Fournette was a second-team pick, behind teammate Derrius Guice.
Hurts helped lead the top-ranked Tide to a third straight SEC title and playoff berth. He and six teammates were first-team selections, including left tackle Cam Robinson, wide receiver ArDarius Stewart, defensive end Jonathan Allen, linebacker Reuben Foster, defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick and punter JK Scott.
