Ten weeks into the 2016 NFL season, the league's teams appear to be separating themselves into four tiers. Five or six squads have shown enough talent, balance and consistency to call themselves true Super Bowl contenders, with another four or five that look good -- or even great -- at times, but seem to harbor a potentially fatal flaw. After that, the league's middle class dominates, with anywhere from 10 to a dozen teams that aren't appreciably better than any other in that group. Finally, there are five or six teams that at this point are just playing out the string. Following their 31-24 Week 10 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night, the Seattle Seahawks are easily in the top tier, despite serious injuries to some of their best players and uneven performances throughout the first half of the season. With only one game remaining against an opponent that currently boasts a winning record, the schedule sets up well for a third NFC West title in four years, as well as a real shot at home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
