49ers’ Sunday forecast: Hyde and Harris?
The running back returned to practice today in a non-contact jersey, which is an encouraging sign before the 49ers meet the Saints on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. Harris, who was promoted from the practice squad Oct. 22, had 39 yards on 11 carries and two receptions for 18 yards against the Buccaneers in his 2016 debut. The rest of the 49ers running backs have accounted for five plays of 20-plus yards in 23 games since 2015. Cornerback Rashard Robinson (sprained MCL) and outside linebacker Aaron Lynch (high-ankle sprain) are not practicing today. Head coach Chip Kelly indicated both players could miss at least one game the day after they were injured against the Buccaneers.
