Venturesome beginning for chamber series
Inscape, a chamber orchestra based in Washington, D.C., has acquired a reputation for inventive, eclectic programming and a crisp approach to a broad range of repertoire.
The program comes at modern chamber music from two different angles, beginning with Paul Moravec’s “Tempest Fantasy,” a beguiling and vivid treatment of Shakespeare that won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Music.
