Donald Trump Takes Lead Over Hillary Clinton in Latest ABC News Poll
The GOP nominee ahead by just one point one week from Election Day
Donald Trump has taken a one-point lead over Hillary Clinton, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates.
The report notes that enthusiasm for Clinton has “ebbed” since the latest email-related scandal broke on Friday when the FBI announced it would review emails found on Anthony Weiner’s computer.
The “strong enthusiasm” supporters for Clinton dropped by seven percent since the start of the study. 53 percent of Trump supports are very enthusiastic while Clinton’s supporters come in at 45 percent in the category.
The ABC polls study that enthusiasm for both candidates is down compared to past elections.
The one-point Clinton-Trump race overall is within the survey’s margin of sampling error.
Why is Trump ahead of Clinton by 1 in the new ABC poll after she led by 13 2 weeks ago?
Because she's doing a piss-poor job of closing.
