Wilmington police pay for haircuts for girls

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Dozens of girls who are going back to school next week have Wilmington police officers to thank for their new hairdos.

For the second year in a row, police officers raised more than $500 to pay for the services for school-age girls with positive report cards.
