Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Wednesday that the Department of General Services' Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services will start testing mosquitoes in certain areas to determine whether the Zika virus is present in parts of the state.
The lab sent collection kits to areas in central and southeastern Virginia last week to gather mosquitoes for testing.
