Report has it that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the forthcoming Edo state governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, on Monday evening, June 20, picked Prince Odi Okojie, Mercy Johnson’s husband, as his running mate.
Before his announcement, Prince Odi’s deputy governor’s flyer under the PDP had flooded Edo state.
However, speaking exclusively to NAIJ.com via Twitter, the actress denied this report.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who defeated two other aspirants during PDP primary election held in Benin City on Monday will face the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Mr. Godwin Obaseki on September 10 gubernatorial election.
