Spurs improve to NBA-record 38-0 at home

The San Antonio Spurs set an NBA record with their 38th straight home victory to open the season and matched the highest win total in franchise history.

Manu Ginobili scored 20 points and the Spurs beat injury-depleted New Orleans 100-92 on Wednesday night to pick up their 47th straight home win dating to last season.

The Warriors are 36-0 at home and can match or break the Spurs’ record by season’s end.
