West Texas man given 50 years for sex assault of girl
The man was convicted this week in a San Angelo courtroom of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The girl, now 15 years old, said during the sentencing hearing that her foster family has taught her about God and forgiveness, and she has chosen to forgive the man and her family, who she says has decided to side with the man.
