A construction crew in Fremont made a grisly discovery Tuesday when a human bone that appeared to be from an arm was found at the site where they were working, authorities said.
The crew was working on a new apartment complex near the corner of Thornton Avenue and Fremont Boulevard when one of the workers spotted the bone laying in a dirt lot, officials said.
A team from the coroner’s office went to the scene, collected the bone and photographed the surrounding area, but it was unclear where the bone came from, who it belonged to or if foul play was suspected.
