Cuomo selects new commander for the New York National Guard

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The commander of the New York Air National Guard has been chosen by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to lead the state's entire National Guard organization.

In that position he'll oversee all of the state's Air National Guard and Army National Guard units as well as the New York Naval Militia and the New York Guard.
