Missing Brisbane man’s Jeep found at beach
The search continued Tuesday for a missing Brisbane man after a beachgoer saw a person in distress the day before in the water off Dunes Beach near Half Moon Bay.
After the person was seen struggling in the sea around 1:30 p.m. Monday, Coast Guard rescue crews, San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies and state park rangers swarmed the beach.
“We do see a relation between the initial call we got about a distressed person in the water, but we can’t confirm it was Mr. Dwyer,” said Det. Salvador Zuno, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office urged anyone with information about Dwyer to call (650) 363-4911 or leave an anonymous tip at (800) 547-2700.
