Philip Winchester Lands Lead Role in Chicago Law

Winchester's casting comes off of the actor's short stint on The Player, NBC's Wesley Snipes' gambling drama that was canceled in its first season.

There's no official word on whether Winchester will make an appearance on any of the other Chicago sister series before the Law's launch, though it's a common practice on the Dick Wolf trio for characters to begin on one series before transitioning to a new spinoff.
