(AP) — Saginaw Valley State University plans to spend up to $600,000 on a marketing campaign as part of an effort to attract more students and boost the school's reputation.
The Saginaw News reports (http://bit.ly/1WvMgbL ) the school's Board of Control this week approved the development and implementation of a new marketing campaign in collaboration with The Image Group, a Holland-based communication and marketing firm.
J.J. Boehm, director of media and community relations for Saginaw Valley State, says earlier research has found that public awareness of the school is relatively low in Michigan.
