Foul smell in Mount Pleasant coming from rotting cover crop
(AP) — A staffer with the Michigan State University Extension says a foul smell in the Mount Pleasant area is the result of a rotting cover crop.
Paul Gross, Isabella County MSU Extension educator on field crops and bioenergy, tells The Morning Sun (http://bit.ly/2127Wmc ) that rotting oilseed radishes are the cause of the smell.
