Feds seek $58K workplace safety fines against Warren Railcar
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Wednesday issued letters of violation to the company based in Warren, about 120 miles east of Pittsburgh.
OSHA is seeking fines for 25 serious and one lesser violation including allegations that hazardous materials that weren't properly labeled; that some machines lacked guards to protect workers from having hands or fingers crushed; and failing to provide protective equipment for welders at the company's expense.
