A 15-year-old girl who says she witnessed the shooting of a deputy at a crowded sandwich shop says she was in a booth with her mother about 10 feet away when it happened.
Authorities say a man opened fire inside a crowded Panera restaurant during lunchtime Wednesday and wounded a sheriff's deputy, then exchanged gunfire with another deputy outside.
