(AP) — An Alabama airport has added a plaque to remember a Kansas boy who died when he was hit by a falling flight information sign.
The family previously settled a wrongful death lawsuit against contractors that were involved in designing, making and installing the sign.
The airport and companies involved with installing the signs also made changes to improve safety.
