Gas prices fall to average $1.91 per gallon in Rhode Island
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices continue to fall in Rhode Island.
AAA Northeast says its weekly survey released Monday found that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas fell three cents from last week, to $1.91.
The price has fallen 20 cents per gallon in the last eight weeks.
The price this week is 19 cents lower than it was a year ago, when it was $2.10 per gallon.
Gas in Rhode Island is still eight cents per gallon higher than the national average of $1.83.
