10 companies you can use to get to the Super Bowl by private jet

via RobbReport

It is the world’s most popular, single-day sporting event; but these days, the Super Bowl is much more than just a championship game for the National Football League. It is a week of parties, culinary events, celebrity golf tournaments, and other social gatherings—all things that elevate the experience of being there for the big game.

Last year, Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix projected a 54-percent increase in corporate jet travel during the week of the Super Bowl, and it stands to reason that a similar increase can be expected during the first weekend in February in Santa Clara for Super Bowl 50. (Here are our selections for the top hotels and top restaurants for the Big Game.) Those planning to attend the NFL’s golden event on February 7 would be wise to consider the following private jet providers. Some offer special Super Bowl promotions and packages, but all guarantee to get you to the game in style.

NetJets

Established in 1964 as the world’s first aircraft management business, NetJets today offers fractional ownership, fractional leasing, and jet card programs—all of which tap into a fleet of Cessna, Embraer, Hawker, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, and Bombardier aircraft. Last year, NetJets customers chartered 250 flights to the Super Bowl in Phoenix, and you can bet on similar numbers this year. (netjets.com)

Flexjet

According to Flexjet’s executive vice president of owner experience, the company anticipates a heavy volume of flights into the Bay Area for Super Bowl 50—as many as or possibly more than the number of Flexjets flights that were chartered to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area for last year’s game. Flexjet customers flying into the Bay Area for the Super Bowl can also expect the same level of service that the company offers through its Red Label offering, a tier of fractional ownership that exclusively features Flexjet’s new Gulfstream G450s and features rates that are based on flight distance, not duration. Skyjet

Owned by Directional Aviation (the same parent company of Flexjet), New York-based Skyjet provides on-demand charter services utilizing a variety of aircraft in all categories, from light jets like a Phenom 300 to large-cabin and extended-range aircraft such as Bombardier’s Challenger 605 and Gulfstream’s G650. Based on the size of a selected aircraft and the starting point of a journey, Skyjet’s one-way charters to San Jose for the Super Bowl range from $5,300 to $60,965. (skyjet.com)
