Kogi State To Immortalize Abubakar Audu
The late former Governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, who died on Sunday, November 23 last year, may be immortalized in the near future.
The decision was announced by governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada on Thursday in Lokoja.

The edifice in the state will be named in honour of Prince Audu Abubakar, the first democratically elected governor of Kogi state.
Unfortunately, he died before the conclusion of the Kogi state governorship election and announcement of the results.
The name of the building will be made known by the incumbent governor on January 27.

It would be recalled that Chief Abubakar Audu was leading in the results announced by INEC, scoring 240,867 votes while Governor Wada of the PDP polled 199,514 votes. re
