Member of the Seimas Ignas Vėgėlė announces that he is leaving the Lithuanian Peasants and Greens and Christian Families Union faction in the Seimas. According to the parliamentarian, this decision was deliberately made, given an increasingly clear gap between the initial agreement on the creation of the joint faction and its actual functioning, as well as between the values declared before the elections and their implementation.
