A survey conducted by payment service provider ECOMMPAY in the Baltic States shows that on average, 45% of the population has changed their payment habits due to the Covid-19 pandemic (in Lithuania 51%) – they shop more online and use a payment card more often than previously. Both Estonians (25%), Lithuanians (24%) and Latvians (20%) increasingly prefer online shopping. In turn, non-cash payments are more often chosen by Lithuanians – 25% of all respondents. Then 20% of Latvian and 14% of Estonian buyers follow.
