The President of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Economy of Bavaria
Tengrinews.kz — During his visit to Germany, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Bavaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, Hubert Aiwanger, citing Akorda.
At the start of the meeting, Tokayev expressed his gratitude to Aiwanger for the warm welcome and for his assistance in organizing a technology forum in Munich.
During the talks, the two sides discussed prospects for strengthening direct business contacts and expanding technological partnerships between Kazakh and Bavarian companies.
It was emphasized that Bavaria is one of Kazakhstan's key economic partners among the German federal states. The Head of State noted the significant potential for further increasing mutual trade, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects.
In turn, Aiwanger spoke of the high level of interest among Bavarian businesses in developing mutually beneficial cooperation. He highlighted the complementary nature of the two countries' economies, which creates strong opportunities for Bavarian companies.
The parties paid special attention to cooperation in high technology, industry, energy, innovation, and regional development. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further deepening the partnership between Kazakhstan and Bavaria.
