In June of this year, the President of Kazakhstan received the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katerina Reiche, in Astana. During that meeting, Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan attaches particular importance to developing its strategic partnership with the FRG. He emphasized that Germany is one of Kazakhstan's largest trade and investment partners. The Head of State reaffirmed Kazakhstan's readiness to provide all necessary conditions to facilitate a broader presence of German business in the domestic market.
