Water to be turned off for 14 hours in part of Almaty: who will be affected
Tengrinews.kz — Water supply will be temporarily restricted in Almaty's Bostandyk district. Service will be suspended on September 18 due to reconstruction work on a main water pipeline.
Affected Areas
The water outage will be in effect on September 18 from 08:00 to 22:00 within the area bounded by Timiryazev and Zharokov streets and Abai and Al-Farabi avenues.
The temporary disruptions are linked to the reconstruction of the bridge over the Esentai River on Al-Farabi Avenue, where specialists will be rerouting a main water pipeline.
Residents are asked to be patient and understanding regarding these temporary restrictions.
As a reminder, Almaty is also following a scheduled power outage calendar this week. Electricity is being temporarily cut off in various districts across the city due to power grid maintenance.
