Tokayev receives Prime Minister Bektenov

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, according to Akorda.

During the meeting, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the government’s key priorities for the coming period and issued specific instructions on the country’s further socioeconomic development.

The Head of State emphasized the need to ensure sustainable economic growth, improve the efficiency of public administration and consistently raise citizens’ well-being.

The President instructed the government to ensure coordinated work among all state bodies, strengthen executive discipline and focus its efforts on achieving concrete results.

Olzhas Bektenov was reappointed Prime Minister of Kazakhstan earlier today, August 31. His candidacy was nominated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
