“The pride of our country”: Tokayev met with the winners of international olympiads

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with students and schoolchildren who won medals at international Olympiads at the Akorda residence, citing the Akorda press service.
The ceremony was attended by 21 laureates, along with their teachers and mentors. The group of winners included 6 gold, 11 silver, and 4 bronze medalists who excelled in disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science, geography, and linguistics.
The Head of State congratulated the gifted youth on their brilliant results in scientific competitions and expressed his sincere gratitude.

"You have demonstrated the highest level of knowledge while competing against the world's best students and have rightfully secured podium finishes in prestigious intellectual contests. Your efforts have allowed our sky-blue flag to fly high and have strengthened Kazakhstan's international reputation. The bright future of Kazakhstan lies in the hands of talented, educated, and capable youth. Each of you is a true source of pride for our country!" the President emphasized.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that every medal won through hard work is invaluable and significant.
"The ability to study and prepare tirelessly day after day, month after month, to achieve a high goal is a true manifestation of deep self-discipline and strength of character. As the great Abai said: 'Only three things are a person's virtues: a burning will, a bright mind, and a warm heart.' Soon you will become qualified engineers, prominent scientists, and true professionals in your fields. I am confident that you will create advanced technologies and make discoveries that will contribute to the prosperity of our Motherland and make a significant contribution to global progress," the President added.
