Kazakhstan and Kenya sign 10 documents
Tengrinews.kz - Following their talks, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Kenyan leader William Ruto issued a joint statement, citing Akorda.
In the presence of the heads of state, members of the official delegations exchanged the following documents:
1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy of the Republic of Kenya on cooperation in the field of ICT and e-government.
2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Roads and Transport of the Republic of Kenya.
3. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife of the Republic of Kenya.
4. Cooperation Agreement between Samruk-Kazyna JSC and the National Mining Corporation (NAMICO).
5. Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Earth remote sensing, space system development, and the application of space technologies between NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary JSC and the Kenya Space Agency.
6. Memorandum of Understanding between the Astana International Financial Centre and the Nairobi International Financial Centre.
During the state visit of the President of Kenya, the following documents were also signed:
1. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Foreign Service Academy of the Republic of Kenya;
2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan LLP and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
3. Memorandum of Understanding between NC Kazakh Invest JSC and the Kenya Investment Authority;
4. Memorandum of Understanding between QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC and the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency.
As a reminder: on May 20, Astana hosted a meeting with Kenyan President William Ruto. He arrived in Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
