TUNIS, April 6 (KUNA) -- Prime Minister of Libya's unity government Abdel-Hamid Dbeibeh and his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed on Tuesday demarcating mutual maritime borders, resuming diplomatic ties as well as promoting military, security and economic cooperation.The talks between the two sides touched upon several dossiers, said a Libyan government statement, stressing Greece's premier desire to establish fruitful ties with all to guarantee Libya's interest.Speaking at a news conference in Libya's capital, Tripoli, Dbeibeh welcomed the development of cooperative relations between the two countries, noting that the two relations have humanitarian, economic, cultural and political aspects.He said that Libya seeks to restore diplomatic ties with Greece and upgrade their levels in line with common interests.He noted that he discussed with the Greek premier the re-opening of Greece embassy and resuming air flights, and enhancing cooperation in nursing and sharing health expertise.Meanwhile, Mitsotakis affirmed that resuming work at Greece's embassy in Tripoli will be a milestone for cooperation between the two countries and will back efforts seeking to build Libya of peace and progress.He emphasized that Greece will stand beside Libya to achieve stability and hold elections away from "foreign interferences".New chapter of bilateral ties should be built on frankness and dialogue as well as faith in international legitimacy's principles, he said.Earlier in the day, Mitsotakis accompanied by b a high-level delegation arrived in Libya to hold talks with Libyan officials.
