There are more Filipinos opposing Charter change than are supporting it, a Pulse Asia survey held last July 2-8 disclosed. The nationwide survey found that 37 percent of the 1,200 respondents in the sample supported Charter change, 44 percent were against the proposal, while 19 percent were undecided on the matter. However, Pulse Asia said, the 37 percent support for Charter change last July was higher than the 27 percent in the survey of November, 2014. Opposition to Charter change was 49 percent in November, 2014, compared to 44 percent in July, 2016. Pulse Asia also found greater support for Charter change in Metro Manila (47 percent) than opposition (42 percent) in the latest July survey.
