Vhon Martin Tanto, the Army reservist who had gunned down bicycle rider Mark Vincent Garalde in Quiapo, Manila last Monday after an altercation, asked forgiveness from Garalde’s family and begged for understanding as he claimed he did not intend to kill the victim.
