Havana Rakatan’s curtain opens on a full band with the sound of ocean waves accompanying a couple, drifting slowly onstage. As the stage fills with brightly colored costumes, short skirts and plenty of attitude, we seem promised a night full of "rakatan," meaning rhythm, power and movement.
