An unusual 1.4-kilometer long skating rink will appear in Astana

Tengrinews.kz — Astana is preparing to open a new ice park featuring skating trails. Located in Linear Park.

The new skating rink will be situated near the Abu Dhabi Plaza shopping and entertainment center, where preparatory work is currently underway.

According to the Astana Akimat press service, the rink will differ from traditional ice arenas. Instead of a single large field, visitors will be offered a 1.4-kilometer skating route.

The total area of the ice surface will span 6,000 square meters.
