Passenger arrested for 12 days for unruly behavior on board “Moscow - Astana“ flight
Tengrinews.kz — A passenger on a Moscow-Astana flight has been arrested for disruptive behavior on board an aircraft, citing Polisia.kz.
After the aircraft landed at the capital's airport in Kazakhstan, the man was handed over to transport police officers.
"Transport police determined that the 36-year-old foreign national, who was intoxicated, disturbed public order by failing to comply with crew instructions and using profanity toward other passengers," said Kurmet Mazhikenov, Deputy Head of the Transport Police Department.
The offender was held accountable for several violations: disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and violating rules of conduct on board an aircraft.
By court order, the foreign national has been sentenced to 12 days of administrative arrest. Additionally, it was revealed that the passenger had already been cited for alcohol consumption within the past year.
The Transport Police Department warned that an aircraft is a high-responsibility environment.
Failure to comply with crew instructions and aggressive behavior carry consequences. The department noted that violations of established rules are punishable in accordance with the law.
