Tokayev appointed Elvira Azimova as Chairperson of the Constitutional Court

Tengrinews.kz – Elvira Azimova has been appointed Chairperson of the Constitutional Court. The relevant decree was signed by the Head of State, citing Akorda.

From 2005 to 2010, Elvira Azimova held the positions of director of the departments for subordinate legislation and international law, protection of state property rights, contracts, and claims and litigation work.

From 2010 to 2013, she worked as director of the Department for the Examination of International Treaties at the Ministry of Justice.

In 2013, she became Vice Minister of Justice.

In September 2019, Elvira Azimova became the Human Rights Commissioner.

Since January 1, 2023, she has served as Chairperson of the Constitutional Court.
