Temperatures to drop sharply in Kazakhstan

Temperatures to drop once again
According to weather forecasters, another cold anticyclone will begin moving into Kazakhstan in the coming days.
"Moving at high speeds and fueled by cold air masses, it will bring a significant drop in temperatures, first to the northern and then to the eastern regions of the country," meteorologists said.
On May 22 in the northern regions, and May 23 in the eastern and central regions of Kazakhstan, nighttime temperatures will drop to 0-5°C, with frost of up to -3°C expected in some areas. During the day, temperatures will reach only 10-15°C.
Summer 2026 outlook for Kazakhstan
Earlier, forecasters released an advisory weather outlook for the summer of 2026 in Kazakhstan. According to their data, the season is expected to bring a combination of hot spells, brief showers, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds.
