The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc is expected to meet Monday to discuss the disqualification cases against presidential hopefuls, Senator Grace Poe and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte, among others. Earlier, the Comelec First and Second Divisions – in separate rulings – cancelled Poe’s the certificate of candidacy (COC) for president for material misrepresentation. A motion for reconsideration has already been filed by the camp of Poe before the en banc. A petition to disqualify Duterte is also pending at the Comelec First Division with a hearing set on December 16.
