INDIANAPOLIS — Dale Earnhardt Jr. will not race again this month because of concussion-like symptoms and the No. 88 car will be turned over to trusted former teammate Jeff Gordon for the next two weeks.

INDIANAPOLIS — Dale Earnhardt Jr. will miss two more races with concussion-like symptoms and Jeff Gordon will come out of retirement to drive the No. 88 car for at least the next two weekends.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A former South Carolina House member spending three years in federal prison for money laundering has been suspended from practicing law.

Three more Zika cases among South Carolina residents have been reported over the past two days, bringing the state total to 21 confirmed cases.

Another South Carolina resident contracted Zika during international travels, bringing the statewide total to 19 confirmed cases.

Despite the Supreme Court decision to drop the P366-million plunder complaint against former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and ordering her immediate release from hospital detention, Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales is unperturbed.
