Duke guard Cayden Boozer returns to the program
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Duke will retain at least one Boozer twin for the 2025-26 season.
Cayden Boozer will return to the Blue Devils next season, he announced on his Instagram.
Boozer averaged 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for the Blue Devils in his freshman year.
While his older brother, Cameron Boozer, had much of the spotlight at Duke throughout the season, Cayden Boozer showed flashes of real upside. Especially in the post season where he had strong performances in both the ACC and March Madness tournaments as a starter.
Boozer will look to build upon another impressive run in the March Madness for the Blue Devils under head coach Jon Scheyer, making the Elite 8 before a crushing defeat to UConn in the final seconds.
He will join five-star recruits Cameron Williams and Bryson Howard in the 2026 season.
