The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mrs Emelia Arthur, has sworn in a 12-member Board of the Fisheries Commission under the new Fisheries Act 1146. The reconstituted board reflects provisions in the law that widen representation to improve oversight and coordination in the management of the country rsquo;s fisheries resources.
